ABOUT THE ARTIST
Sophia Guadalupe (she/any) is a Chicago, IL based artist, educator, organizer, candlemaker, and herbalist originally from Miami, FL. Her work has recently been rooted in arts advocacy, curation, and administration in the public education and fine arts sectors. Sophia’s herbalism and artistic practices are in direct collaboration with her background as a Venezuelan-American queer lesbian raised in Florida and her work as a spiritual candlemaker.
